Our boy is back!!

We got some really great news about a week ago...:) A little boy that we had 2 years ago was adopted by a really wonderful couple and we all became really great friends, we keep in touch but we haven't seen him or been able to hug him in 2 years, We had a very special bond with him, and now.. they are adopting our girl too!!!!!! SO .. we have been able to spend this past week with our boy. He has really grown, I have to be careful not to cry around him.. I miss him so much that I ache. But I am so happy for the home he has found and he is doing so great. He is going to be such a great big brother!! :) Ok, I'm about to cry( he's leaving in the morning) so let me wrap this up..

Oh, how sweet! That is so precious-I'd be crying too! I don't know if I could ever be a foster mom...I don't think I could ever give up a child after caring for him/her and holding precious babies like that. But I know that there is a need for foster parents for children in need. How amazing that you are able to do that!

Michelle, Thanks so much for visiting my blog so that I could discover yours! What a true gift you have. I can't imagine the joy and heartbreak.
I was a short term foster child when I was 10, (you read about my mother), when I was 12 my mother by no accident(God's Will) moved onto the street where my foster parents lived! I think my mother learned a lot about parenting from my foster mom. We all still keep in touch.
We were the only foster children they ever had, it was too painful for them to give us up.
We were so loved and frankly saw a different parenting style. Piano lessons, crafting, church etc.
I like to think I parent my children with the best of both my mothers.
Thanks again for all you do for these children!

Oh Michelle. Isn't he the proud big brother?? What a joy that two of your babies will always be together.

Is this the little boy you were thinking of keeping back when we were in the group together? He's so handsome!

Oh my! They are beautiful!

My sis works for DHR and it breaks my heart to hear what some of those kiddos go through. Bless you and your hubby for stepping up! I love reading your blog.
